I was at the Denver Art Museum with my little daughter the otherday. Daniel Sprick’s exhibit “Release Your Plans” was a trip. It got me thinking about the paradox that exists between these two statements: “Release Your Plans” and “Take Control of Your Life.”
As we grow into adults, we get this sense of the need to take control of our lives, and yet, we still want to be open to the flow and unpredictable twists and attractions that come to us. How do we handle it?
I was thinking there are a few “rules” that I apply to my life but I can only remember this one:
1. Never leave home without a notebook and pen
Anyway, what do you have to say about this?
