aprilI refuse to add mind energy to the collective belief that in “these times” art is a luxury. Because the truth is, in “these times” art is our definite connection to ourselves, to eachother, and to the divine. And like my cousin Phil says, “Art is never a luxury just like air, water and food. Cars are a luxury. Lattes are a luxury. Art that inspires, intrigues and questions is a necessity.”
So if you see some art that you absolutely feel and it is realistic to own, but you don’t think you can afford it up front…consider that a lot of artists are willing to work with buyers. Yes. The connection and communication felt in experiencing art is real, timeless and important, and you might as well indulge in this awesomeness.

Especially
in “these times”–which are always the times…purchasing art is making an investment in that little lit place in your heart. Then you can always visit that ember there and stoke your remembrance and remember and remember…
